What better way to encourage a mom than give her updated family photos for Mother’s Day! Each Spring, Emerge Mothers Academy holds a photoshoot for our moms. Our donors gifted each family a large canvas! 2019 was our biggest turnout for family photos and we are excited to continue to grow this event!
Health & wellness is one of the core values of Emerge Mothers Academy. Each year we host a Wellness Expo to benefit our services. In 2019, we hosted the event at ModernWell with local wellness vendors and an incredible panel that spoke on mental, physical, and spiritual wellness.
At Emerge Mothers Academy, we celebrate entrepreneurship! Each Spring we host a “Shark Tank” event for entrepreneurial single mothers to pitch their business idea. This year we partnered with Women Venture and PPNA. We will be sharing more about our 2019 recipient in the coming months.
During the Summer we offer Summer in the Park programming. Moms come together to connect with other moms while their children play.
Nothing gets us as excited as hearing success stories from our Work Preparation clients. Your support has allowed us to work one-on-one with women for job coaching and updating resumes. With over 90% success in placement, the Emerge Mothers Academy Work Preparation program is helping women gain employment and bring financial stability to their homes

Thanks to a grant from Allianz Life, Parenting Class participants receive our Financial Literacy Training.
This year marked our 8th annual charity gala, Splurge for Emerge. Attendees enjoyed the night shopping from mom-owned businesses, cocktails, games, and a program where two Emerge clients shared their powerful stories.To all the volunteers that made this event come together smoothly, thank you. We had the privilege to partner with Robert Covington of the Minnesota Timberwolves. He provided 75 Power Plates Thanksgiving meals. Thank you, Robert, for your commitment to the community!
Thanks to our wonderful donors and volunteers, it was a joy-filled Christmas at Emerge Mothers Academy! Ten mothers and their children received presents for a stress-free holiday season. Thank you for making our Annual Emerge Christmas Boutique a success.
